training manager is appointed
The newly formed KBB NTG has appointed Renee Mascari as Training Manager to bring together approved training providers and delegates to implement the new KBB NTG training programmes.
Renee Mascari who worked formerly for Planit International was appointed in May.
"It's great that we have been able to appoint an NTG training manager of Renee's calibre, she brings a wealth of experience to the post," said KBSA Chief Executive Graham Hayden, interim facilitator for the group.
"The NTG is a long overdue initiative to bring together all training providers to ensure that everyone working within the interiors industry can take best advantage of appropriate and relevant approved training, education and qualifications available."
Renee was national training manager for world-leading software provider Planit International, which devises and supplies CAD solutions to the kitchen retail industry.
"I'm looking forward to my new role within the NTG, it was a natural progression from my training work for Planit," said Renee. "This will be a challenging post but also a rewarding one. The industry as a whole seems committed to helping us achieve our objectives of setting standards, upskilling the workforce, encouraging new talents and reducing the amount of rogue traders.
"We have a huge task ahead of us but our aims are achievable with sustained enthusiasm and the expertise of kitchen, bathroom and bedroom professionals keen to support our efforts.
"It's tremendously exciting to be involved in such a dynamic, goal-driven group and I hope that all KBB training providers join us in our initiative."
