the kbb national training group was formally launched at the kbb 2006 exhibition
The KBB National Training Group was formally launched at the KBB 2006 Exhibition. KBB 2006 offered the group a platform to put forward their vision, aims and objectives and given the support and feedback, the path is set for us to facilitate the development and delivery of the much needed Education and Training programme.
The current 5 day installation course and 'Introduction to Kitchen Design' continue to be well received and March 23rd sees the delivery of a pilot Sales Course, hosted by Indesit in Peterborough and written and delivered by Graham Hayden.
Further courses covering all aspects of the KBB industry are being collated and planned for the very near future. These will be posted on our web site.
In roads are also being made with local education authorities to develop a programme for schools that include design and installation by way of awareness and introduction as a career path into the KBB industry.
This Programme cannot be put together overnight. We need to work with and engage with both manufacturer and retailer. It is with their support and input that the courses developed reflect their needs and course requirements.
